Croke Park, the Dublin headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association, was the venue for the opening ceremony and many sports events of the 1924 Tailteann Games. It has since become the flagship venue for the GAA, hosting major Gaelic football and hurling finals, and is one of Europe's largest stadiums.
