The Tailteann Games, or Aonach Tailteann, was revived as an Irish sporting and cultural festival in the Irish Free State in 1924, 1928, and 1932. It was intended as a modern revival of the ancient Tailteann Games, drawing inspiration from the Modern Olympics. The games were held in Dublin, with Croke Park serving as a primary venue.
